About The 33rd IFATCA AFM - Regional Meeting
IFATCA, the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations, is an international collective of air traffic controller associations. It was established in 1961 and has member Associations in more than 130 countries around the globe.

Read about how controllers began issuing take-off 'clearances' from July 1922. Around the same time, they began coordinating flights between the different observation posts along routes and between airports.

Kenya Air Traffic Controllers Association (KATCA) is a professional body for Air Traffic Controllers in Kenya and an affiliate of International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Associations (IFATCA). It is a non-profit making organization.

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) was established on 24th October 2002 by the Civil Aviation (Amendment) Act, 2002 with 5 directorates. Air Navigation Services (ANS), Aviation Safety Security and Regulation (ASSR), East African School of Aviation (EASA), Corporate Services (CS) and Office of the Director General
